Celebrated for ourseasoned managers and dedicated staff, we honor the social services of retired teachers, doctors, and police personnel with annual award ceremonies on August 15 and January 26. The 7th branch office of Godavari Credit Souharda Co-operative Society was inaugurated in Yellapur. The event was graced by the presence of several notable individuals, including the MLA of Yellapur-Mundgod constituency, Mr. Shivarama Hebbar; Director of Karavali Munjanu Daily newspaper, Mr. Gangadhar Hiregutti; Cooperative Indian National Executive Member, Mr. Mohanadas Nayak; Chief Guest, Retired Principal, Mr. Beeranna Nayak; Retired Teacher, Mr. Vijay Nayak; and Mr. Rama Nayak.During the ceremony, several retired teachers were honored for their contributions. These included Mr. Vinod Narayan Naik, Mr. Santosh Honnappa Kolageri, and Mr. Shivanand Nayak. Additionally, Mr. Ramachandra Bhat, the President of the Yellapur Taluk Primary School Teachers’ Association; Mr. Jagadish Nayak Hoskere, the District President of the Karnataka State School Education Department; and Mr. Shankar S. Shirsikar were also felicitated for their service and dedication

Ankola: The Godavari Cooperative Society has shown great generosity by providing daily essentials to the residents of Uluvare village, who are facing problems due to the Shiruru landslide. The care center in Uluvare is sheltering around 200 residents and more than 40 families, providing them with special grocery items, daily snacks, toys for children, sweets, and drinking water. They visited the affected area in Uluvare, assessed the situation, and encouraged the victims. The managers and staff of the Godavari Cooperative Society were present to distribute the supplies.
